Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with StringLane. If it is not the right fit for your workflow, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase.
This policy is effective as of May 20, 2026.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a full refund on any one-time StringLane license purchase if you request it within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. You do not need to provide a reason — we read every refund email but we will not interrogate you.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@stringlane.app from the address you used at checkout and include either:
- the order ID from your Creem receipt, or
- the license key that was delivered to you by email.
We will acknowledge your request within two business days and confirm once the refund has been issued. Payment is processed by Creem, our merchant of record; the refund is returned to the original payment method by Creem and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
What Happens to Your License
When a refund is issued:
- the license key associated with the refunded order is marked inactive,
- the StringLane application will detect this on its next online check and revert to trial mode if you have remaining trial days, or prompt you to purchase a new license,
- any local copies of StringLane remain installed; the software is not remotely deleted from your device.
What Is Not Covered
This refund policy applies to standard one-time StringLane license purchases. It does not cover:
- requests made more than 30 days after the original purchase date,
- chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first contacting us — we strongly prefer to resolve concerns directly,
- bulk, team, or custom orders, which are handled on a case-by-case basis under terms agreed at the time of purchase.
Statutory Rights
This policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory consumer rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country or region (for example, EU consumer protection or UK consumer rights).
